Beaded Watch Bracelets

by Gloria-Jean Browne
(Muskoka, Canada)

Adding a watch face to a beaded bracelet turns it into a functional piece of wearable art. Here are some examples of beaded watch bracelets that I have made. Some are single strand and some are double strand. Some have a toggle clasp and some have a clasp and chain with bead dangles. The great thing about attaching a chain is that it makes the bracelet watch adjustable to fit any size wrist.

I like to use a variety of beads such as semi-precious stones, glass pearls, freshwater pearls, lampwork beads, metal beads, seed beads, glass beads, crystals, bead caps and charms. I usually make a lot of my own charms or dangles with a head pin and beads.
