"Celebrate" Soul Journey Bracelet

by Gloria-Jean Browne
(Muskoka, Canada)

This dangle bracelet is part of my Soul Journey series of bracelets called “Celebrate”.

Myth, legend and symbols tells us what gems inspire us, what symbols guide us and what colors motivate us. So for this bracelet I used colorful beads that are happy, fun and make you want to laugh. I also included three word charms: live, fun and laugh. And of course a dolphin and small goddess charm.

Wearing these Soul Journey beads and symbols are a gentle reminder to make time to enjoy pleasure, dance, celebrate, divert yourself with something that is amusing, fun, and totally recreational. Enjoy the journey and embrace life in its absolute fullness. Have fun!

Here is the color symbolism for the different beads that I used:

Orange combines the energy of red and the happiness of yellow. Orange lusts for life and its laughter is full-bodied. It is associated with joy, sunshine, celebration, fun, and enjoyment of the senses. It promotes happiness and optimism, helps balance general well being, and broadens the mind to cope with life and career. Orange is also the color of creativity, excitement and adventure... stimulates creative thinking and enthusiasm, the willingness to embrace new ideas with motivation and a sense of exploration and creative play.

Turquoise is the color of communication, self awareness and initiative. Turquoise has more to do with feeling and creative expression than with rational thought. The color of a Turquoise will make you feel happy and relaxed, for it combines the light blue of the sky with the invigorating green of the seas.

Purple is a combination of blue and red. Red is a focusing, dynamic and active energy while blue is cooling, calming and passive. The coalescence of liveliness and tranquility allows more creative energy to emerge. For this reason, purple is associated with imagination and inspiration. and is a colour for the adventurous heart.

Yellow - A sun color, exuberantly cheerful, yellow lifts our spirits, it makes us feel happy, optimistic, expressive, friendly, creative and experimental. Dawn's spectacular yellow rays provide the light and warmth we need for this lavish gift called life. Yellow lights our existence. It illuminates, clearing the shadows of uncertainty. It breathes a warm promise of new beginnings and hope.

Pearls symbolize the best within us. Honesty, purity , wisdom, strength and beauty.

Faceted Crystals encourage a brighter outlook and enjoyment of life, to aid in the attraction of prosperity and success, to cultivate spiritual growth and abundance on all levels.

Dolphins symbolize our ability to enjoy life and be happy, of being able to 'go with the flow' of life, free from worry. They are our true teachers in how to play and be light-hearted. It is significant that they are mammals that live in water because water and the oceans are symbolic of our deeper emotions and the cosmic ocean of life. Dolphins play, leap, twist and turn in these waters, and so as a symbol they represent the ability for us to release limitations, and then accept and enjoy our deeper spiritual nature. Dolphins do not dwell on the meaning of life, they simply live life to the full as a part of the cosmic dance.

Dance like there's nobody watching
Love like you'll never get hurt
Sing like there's nobody listening
And laugh, have fun, celebrate life!
