DANCING IN HARMATTAN BROWNS

by Rachel Arku Azamate
(Accra - Ghana)

This piece is a combination of beautiful African trade beads, black and gold large seed beads, gold spacer beads and honey brown lamp work beads with dancing black inflections.

It is about 13.5cm long with earrings spotting black swarovski crystals, African trade beads and gold filled ear wires.

The entire set is made up of a necklace, a pair of ear rings and 2 bracelets.

Inspiration
It's very feminine, flirty and reminds me of lazy sunshiny
days, of sleeping on the grass reading books wearing flimsy dresses and giggling with my girl friends. The swishing sound of mummy's skirt as she prepares a pot of spicy groundnut soup for our meal.

Bio
I am a young girl who fell crazy in love with the turning of beads into lovely wearable confections and works of art. I have been beading since 2000 and always have a thirst for new ideas and knowledge.
