Firefly

by Matthew Dilosa
(Blue Mountains, NSW Australia)

Firefly Macro Shot

Firefly Macro Shot

Mosaic beaded necklace featuring corals, fresh water pearls, red faceted glass and vintage beads with rolled gold clasp.

Inspiration:

"RED, oh how I adore that colour, returning time and again to bathe in its seductive glow. Am I too old to wear that hat, that shirt, that bag? How can I resist, it draws me like the firefly to the flame."

This is a hand crafted piece my Michele Fermanis-Winward.

Michele and her geologist husband are currently in the UK in search of new and exciting jewellery components for her next collection. My name is Matthew and I am a good friend and webmaster for Michele's site.

Michele and Kevin have been regularly posting their travel stories and photo's onto Michele's blog, a very interesting and evocative site www.mfwbeadedjewellery.blogspot.com

The piece I have posted here is one of 16 handcrafted pieces which can be viewed at www.mfwbeadedjewellery.com
