Help to Design a Necklace

I have a vintage 1970's red branch coral necklace purchased in Italy. The clasp broke, and it was uncomfortable to wear, besides being the wrong style for me, a 50-something empty nest mom.

So, I unstrung it, bought some other pearl beads, and would like to restring it to make necklace, earrings, and a bracelet. (Don't have to match, but probably will) Here are photos of necklace and new beads.

Here's the problem: I've never designed a necklace before, or any jewelry for that matter. Would appreciate any suggestions for possible designs. I would like it to be symmetrical, and really prefer monochromatic to go with my wardrobe.

Thanks for your help!

Redesigning 1970's red coral necklace NEW

Hi. I'd be tempted to use the red coral as accents to necklaces made with turquoise, silver and white freshwater pearls. Kind of like "South Seas meets Southwest" ~ mostly turquoise.
