How to sell my Jewelry ?

by Vanessa

I have a big inventory of jewelry, which is utterly distinctive. My jewelry collection is a mix of hand made and ready-made pieces with major focus on sterling silver. As an artist, I am a talented artist with a very refined taste but with an extremely poor selling skills! My social net work, is poor as well as I would consider my self-workaholic person, without much time left for social interactions. Now, I wanted to take advantage of whatever days left in the hottest season of the year, to sell my Jewelry. I have realized the big mistake I did, since I have spent so much of my time working very hard to build my inventory. Obviously, I am running out of time but I am still hoping not to loose the opportunity of making sales during the end of this season. In fact, I have spent so much money to build my collection without having any strategies for selling my product. I would like some suggestions for fast selling strategies/ideas during the next couple of weeks?

The fastest way NEW

I deal with such questions every day, dear. I know that the fastest way to sell something is to sell it with the lower price than others and to have a good ad. If you like, you may order the ad for your works.

Try consignment. Inquire with various shops in your area. The Fall and Xmas seasons seem to the best time to sell.

I have consigned at convenience, thrift, clothing and specialty shops. Stores may want 10-50% of your sales. Adjust prices as needed.

Search online for all stores in your area. Call and meet with each one. Tag everything and bring a receipt just in case they want to keep your merchandise.

Beautiful rotating jewelry stands can be found on Ebay for $10 or less. One or two stands per store may be sufficient.

Try to change your inventory once or twice a year. Keep a schedule and rotate your collections from store to store. As time goes by, you'll learn what sells best at each store.

It's easier than you think. It saves time to have someone else sell your jewelry.

Because I'm disabled, my friends also take my jewelry to craft shows, flea markets, farmer's market, fairs and festivals. I give them a percentage of my sales as well. Just be sure to provide them with a display stand that is easy to transport.
