Making Children's Jewelry
Let me start off by saying I absolutely LOVE this site. Whenever I do a search to answer a jewerly-related question this site always pops up on the first page.
So here is my situation:
I finally narrowed my market down to handmade jewerly for little girls, tweens and teens. I opened a shop on Etsy called LittleLayDeeBoutique
(named after my daughters). Right now I am in LOVE with creating button earrings and rings.
However, my question is what other types of jewelry can I make from here within this niche? I know how to make basic beaded bracelets and necklaces but always have a hard time finding "child like" beads and charms.
Also, I have an issue when it comes to buying supplies. For example, I usually buy the button earrings in packs so I can make about 2 or 3 sets. However, my big button rings only come as a set of 3 but in 3 different designs. How much should I buy, especially since I am not sure if it will sell?
Finally, I am thinking about doing craft shows this year. How much jewelry should I make for each show?
Whatever advice you can offer is welcomed.
