Color Symbolism

Paying attention to the meaning of turquoise will set the theme or mood to your beading designs. Discover how the color turquoise can help add a certain expression of feelings and emotions to your jewelry piece.

Turquoise Energy:
Turquoise is the color of communication, self awareness and initiative.

Turquoise has more to do with feeling and creative expression than with rational thought.

The color of a Turquoise will make you feel happy and relaxed, for it combines the light blue of the sky with the invigorating green of the seas.

Shades of cyan, aquamarine, and turquoise are livelier than our peaceful true blues, but just as soothing. A gaze into Caribbean waters will affirm this. These blues relax and refresh the body and mind. They encourage us to get out in the fresh air, sunshine, and water.

Lighter shades of turquoise has a feminine appeal. Teal has a darker, somewhat more sophisticated look.
