Purple Dragonfly Necklace
by Gloria-Jean Browne
This necklace is made with purple and green glass and crystal beads, freshwater pearls, leaf shape beads, sliders and silver bead caps.
I loved the dragonfly toggle clasp and didn't want to hide it in the back so instead I designed the necklace to have the toggle clasp at the side. And then added a purple dragonfly dangle in the front center. I think this adds a lot more interest to the piece.
The necklace goes from single strand to triple strand to double strand then back to single strand attached to a chain which goes around the back.
The flower sliders are usually used on bracelets but I decided to use them on this necklace instead and I love how it turned out.
The mossy green and light purple look great together and remind me of a beautiful dragonfly garden.
