I like to start with the beads. I compare different color combinations that will look well together in a display.

Then, I decide upon the various patterns that I've developed that will also look well together in the display.

My rotating display stands hold two dozen pieces of jewelry. I make 12 necklaces and 12 matching bracelets. My beautiful, yet elegant $12 stands were found on Ebay.

I try to make half a dozen pieces of one theme and half a dozen of another theme. For example, I may make half a dozen pink and lilac and another half a dozen of aqua and blue.

This provides a good range of color and gives a customer a little more to choose from.

I consign in several different stores and rotate collections from store to store once or twice a year. One or two stands per store seems sufficient.

Search for images online. There are many simple patterns. Once accomplished, proceed to the more difficult.
