Wire Weave Cuff Bracelet

I call this free-form wire weave because there is no set pattern. I start by making a zig-zag pattern for the base. You could use 18 gauge wire but 14 or 16 gauge would be much stronger or stiffer. Then with 24 gauge wire I just go back and forth across the top adding beads then wrap around the base a couple of times and continuing doing this until I am satisfied with the look.

In this cuff bracelet I used fresh water pearls, glass pearls, MOP, aqua jasper, aquamarine, amazonite, ivory toned riverstone, teal fire-polished crystals and glass seed beads.

Using a variety of different size and shapped beads gives this piece a lot of texture. Combining the different shades of turquoise, teal and ivory together reminds me of the south pacific ocean with waves splashing across a sandy beach.

Exquisite and exciting! NEW

Love the mix of turquoise with compatible ivory and pearl! I'm enthralled.

I have never figured out whether God made me for turquoise or turquoise for me. Guess it's me for turquoise because I loved it at first sight at age 8. And it has been highly valued for many thousands of years.

Thank you!
